Alfa Laval India has bagged an order valued at Rs 70 crore from PetroVietnam
Group for supply of equipment engineering for their ethanol process plant, which
is being setup at Northern Vietnam.
The delivery is scheduled for 2010 and the plant is expected to go on stream
during 2011.
Alfa Laval's heat exchange, decanters and tank cleaning equipment are to be
used in the starch based fermentation, distillation and dehydration processes of
the ethanol plant. The plant at Vietnam when ready is expected to produce about
330,000 litres per day of fuel ethanol.
