Carlos Gosh, Chairman and CEO of Renault-Nissan JV, is expected to inaugurate
its manufacturing facility in Chennai on 17 March 2010.
The plant is set up by Renault-Nissan Automotive India, a JV between
Renault-Nissan alliance at an outlay of Rs 4,000 crore with a capacity to
produce four lakh units annually.
According to sources, Nissan is likely to roll-out the compact car 'Micra'
from the plant in May 2010 for the Indian market.
