The much delayed Signature bridge project in east Delhi may see the light of
day.
The Delhi Government awaits the final approval of the Union Government
regarding the cost component for the project. According to sources, the cost of
the project, first mooted almost seven years back to link NH-1 on the western
bank of Yamuna River with Wazirabad, has been pegged at Rs 1,193 crore as per
latest estimate.
The project is to be constructed as a replica of the famous London Bridge.
