National Textile Corporation (NTC) is expected to complete its three new
mills being set up in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat in the next three-six
months.
The three projects are at Achalpur in Maharashtra, Hassan in Karnataka and
Ahmedabad in Gujarat and are being set up at a cost of about Rs 650 crore. The
combined production capacity of the three units is expected to be about 1.32
lakh spindles.
NTC is also in the process of setting up a new mill in Rajasthan for
geo-textiles, a special variant used in construction and road making.
