The Essel Group plans to set up a special entertainment and tourism
development zone near Mumbai. However, the financial details of the project are
yet to be worked out.
The zone is likely to come up on 800 acre and will be an extension of its
theme park 'Essel World'. It is likely to have various activities such as theme
park and even post production of foreign films. Essel is expected to form a new
entity to promote the project.
