Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials (AEIM) has secured 11.28 acres at Kosala Industrial Park in Raipur to build a state-of-the-art semiconductor materials facility.
The project, supported by Chhattisgarh's industry-friendly policy offering capital subsidies of up to 40 percent, is a major step in making the region a semiconductor hub. Construction will begin immediately with the first phase expected by May 2026, using advanced engineering techniques to speed up the process. AEIM has already placed orders for essential equipment from leading manufacturers in Japan, South Korea, and the US. The Raipur facility will produce cutting-edge semiconductor materials, such as sapphire ingots and wafers, along with next-generation electronic substrates.
“This world-class facility will help establish Raipur as a recognized semiconductor hub," said Vishaal Nandam, Executive Director of AEIM. The Rs 10,000 crore investment will generate over 4,000 high-skill roles. AEIM specialises in semiconductor materials and advanced electronic components, backed by robust research and development capabilities across its existing facilities.
