Jakson Group has launched its Rs 8,000-crore investment to establish a six GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.
On 16 November, 2025, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav laid the foundation stone for Phase 1, which includes setting up three GW of solar cell and four GW of solar module production capacity. Over the next three years, the full project will scale up to six GW of ingot, wafer, cell and module manufacturing, creating around 4,000 employment opportunities. Phase 1 alone involves an investment of Rs 2,000 crore and is expected to generate 1,700 work opportunities.
CM Yadav stated that the solar manufacturing hub at Maksi will strengthen the state's position as a centre for clean energy manufacturing and logistics, while supporting India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision. Jakson Group Chairman Sameer Gupta said the facility will enhance technological self-reliance and significantly boost India's clean energy manufacturing capabilities from the heart of the country.
