PVV Infra, a leader in solar power rooftop installations, has signed a Rs 650 crore memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to establish a 1 GW N-Type TOPCon solar cells manufacturing facility.
The agreement was formalized on November 15, 2025, with the facility to be set up in Visakhapatnam, near the airport, covering a 30-acre industrial site. The project is expected to create 350 direct and over 450 indirect employment, significantly contributing to local industrial growth and skill development.
PVV Infra will leverage its expertise in investment, technology, planning, and design to operationalise the state-of-the-art unit, advancing India’s renewable energy goals. "This initiative is a significant step in supporting India’s renewable infrastructure and fostering sustainable industrial development," said a PVV Infra spokesperson.
