AG Poly Packs will invest around Rs 42 crore in setting up a new facility in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh as part of its expansion plan to manufacture flexible tubes used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. The new unit is expected to be operational by July, 2023.
The expansion will enable it to produce seven million tubes monthly which will comprise face wash, creams, scrubs and other products to serve its client base of direct-to-consumer (D2C) companies such as Unilever, Dabur and Patanjali.
Additionally, to scale its business in the western region, AG Poly Packs intends to put up another plant in the west soon. Moreover, it is looking to ramp-up its exports to the Middle East region, including Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
The company is also expanding its offering with nasal pumps from its current Ghaziabad unit plant to cater to pharma companies such as Minoxidil with a production target of four million pieces per month.
AG Poly Packs is a manufacturer of rigid packaging materials and operates two manufacturing facilities in the National Capital Region (NCR) which account for an output of 4.200 tonne of materials such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and polypropylene (PP) processed annually.
