Mitsu Chem Plast, a leading polymer solutions company, has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations as it has proposed to commence manufacturing operations at a new facility located at the MIDC Industrial Area, Boisar, in Palghar District.

This facility will support the company’s growing operational needs and is part of its long-term growth strategy. Currently, Mitsu Chem Plast operates three manufacturing units with a combined capacity of over 29,000 MT per annum. As of September 2025, the company was running at approx. 68 percent capacity utilisation, reflecting healthy demand for its products. The Boisar facility will add 900 MT per annum to its manufacturing capacity. The company plans to invest around Rs 101 lakh in new machinery, funded entirely through internal accruals.

Mitsu Chem Plast aims to enhance its production flexibility and responsiveness to customer requirements with this expansion. “This capacity addition supports our strategy to sustain long-term growth and meet evolving market demand,” the company stated.
