The government of Andhra Pradesh has invited bids under local competitive bidding, for the Kurnool Cuddapah Canal (K C Canal) Modernisation Project in the state.

Bids have been invited for the following works:

Ø        Earth work excavation and cement concrete lining of distributaries including reconstruction / repairs to structures lying between km 234.560 to km 290.024 of Kurnool-Cuddapah Canal package. The cost of the work is approximately Rs.17.892 crore and the period of completion is 26 months.

Ø        K C Canal Modernisation Project – On-farm development and formation of Ayacut roads including construction of structures in Reach no.4 and 5 of K C Canal. The cost of the work is approximately Rs.7.215 crore and the period of completion is 26 months.

The last date for submission of bids is 10 December 2001.
