Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has approved the establishment of the AP Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (AP LinC), a new government-owned entity designed to integrate Andhra Pradesh’s ports, airports, roads, inland waterways, and cold-storage facilities into a unified logistics ecosystem.
The corporation will be headed by a Managing Director and will focus on attracting largescale investments, enhancing efficiency, and reducing logistics costs across the state. During a review meeting at the Secretariat, Naidu emphasised that AP LinC will serve as a catalyst for developing world-class logistics infrastructure and supporting district-level initiatives to promote the sector. He reiterated his vision to position Andhra Pradesh as the gateway to India’s East Coast, backed by robust standards, modern connectivity, and expanded maritime capacity.
CM Naidu also announced plans to establish a logistics university and a civil aviation university to strengthen talent development. Highlighting the state’s strategic advantage—six operational ports and four upcoming ports—he noted that AP already ranks second in sea-cargo movement, with neighbouring states depending heavily on its maritime facilities for future growth.
