The Adani Group is making a major push into India’s hospitality sector, with plans to build one of the country's largest hotel portfolios.
This move is part of a broader strategy to monetize its infrastructure assets, particularly around its expanding airports and real estate developments. The group plans to develop over 60 hotels across India, primarily linked to airports it operates, including a significant focus on Navi Mumbai. In Navi Mumbai, around 15 hotels are planned, driven by the development of a new international airport and surrounding real estate. Instead of managing hotels directly, the Adani Group will collaborate with international hotel operators for the management, distribution, and customer loyalty aspects.
This hospitality venture is part of a larger plan to turn Adani-operated airports into multi-use urban hubs, combining retail, entertainment, and convention spaces alongside passenger terminals.
