The Adani-Ashoka-Aakshaya joint venture (JV), has bagged a contract for the Mithi river development and pollution control project (Package III) from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The project includes various key components such as dry weather flow interception at tidal outfalls, gate pumps, transfer sewer, river training, service roads, retaining walls, and allied works. Additionally, the joint venture will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for 10 years, spanning from CST Bridge in Kurla to Mahim Causeway, including the Vakola River. The project will be carried out on a design, build, and operate (DBO) basis, ensuring comprehensive management from development through to long-term operation.
The joint venture consisting of Adani Road Transport (51 percent stake), Ashoka Buildcon (26 percent), and Aakshaya Infra (23 percent), has now received a letter of acceptance (LoA) for this significant infrastructure project.
