Agilitas Sports, backed by Nexus Venture Partners and Convergent Finance, has launched the Italian sportswear brand Lotto in India, targeting Rs 1,000 crore in revenues over the next five years.
Initially launched online, Lotto will expand through a multi-channel strategy, including e-commerce marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, national and regional retailers, and exclusive mono-brand stores. “We have an ambitious plan for brand Lotto. We have begun with the launch of sneakers but will gradually introduce a wider product assortment across performance and athletic leisure footwear, apparel, and accessories,” said Abhishek Ganguly, Co-founder & CEO, Agilitas Sports.
The company plans to open about 10 stores by the March quarter and aims for 100 mono-brand outlets in the next to to three years, with Lotto available across 350 retail locations by early next year. Agilitas also plans to export Lotto products to South Africa and Australia, leveraging its exclusive distribution rights in these regions. Nearly 80-85 percent of Lotto’s products will be manufactured in India, supported by a dedicated factory and R&D facility. Meanwhile, Agilitas is in talks to bring other international sportswear and athleisure brands to India.
