Campus Activewear has announced an investment of Rs 230 crore to expand its manufacturing capacity by the close of FY 2027-28, aimed at supporting business growth and strengthening backward integration.
As part of this expansion, the company has acquired land and a building from Nainipanel Industries in Sector-05, IIE SIIDCUL, Pantnagar, Industrial Area in Uttarakhand. The land spans 47,000 sq. mtrs., and the deal, valued at Rs 74.75 crore, was executed on 02 September, 2025, as an all-cash transaction. The acquisition will enhance capacity for producing semi-finished goods (sole and/or upper) and assembly of footwear.
Currently, the company operates with an annual capacity of 8.4 million pairs of uppers and 30.7 million pairs for assembly, with utilization levels of 80 percent and 75 percent respectively. The proposed expansion will add 7.2 million pairs annually for both uppers and assembly within 2.5 years from September 2025. Funded through internal accruals, the deal is not a related party transaction, requiring only SIIDCUL transfer approval.
