Metro Brands, a leading footwear company based in Mumbai, is set on accelerating its growth with the launch of MetroActiv, a store format dedicated to athletic footwear and active lifestyle products.
CEO Nissan Joseph believes this segment, catering to fitness enthusiasts, will drive long-term growth as more Indians embrace fitness and sports. MetroActiv stores feature global brands like Nike, Adidas, and Puma, with plans for further expansion in cities like Indore, Dehradun, and Surat. Each store wil be aroud 30,000 sq. ft. Joseph also pointed to positive post-festival demand trends and the beneficial impact of recent GST changes.
