1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Agra Metro construction work gains momentum

The construction work of the first corridor of Agra Metro project has gathered pace. The Metro project team has completed the erection of 100 piers in just 10 months from the beginning of the construction. 
 
The timely erection of the piers indicates that the project is being executed with accuracy and in a time-bound manner, and the entire project will be executed within the fixed timeline.
 
Completion of 100 piers marks the completion of most of the construction work for three km elevated section of the priority stretch, which runs from Taj East Gate Station and Fatehabad Road in Uttar Pradesh. 
 
The first station of the corridor i.e. Taj East Gate, has already started coming into shape and will soon be ready.
 
Double T-Girders are already being placed for the concourse area along with the commencement of construction work from the concourse to the platform for Taj East Gate Metro station.
 
The concourse beam of Basai Metro station has also been cast and the construction work of the station area will begin soon.
 
The Agra Metro project was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 7 December 2020. In just 10 months from the date of its inauguration, the project team has completed 616 piles, 120 pile caps and 102 piers for the elevated section of the priority stretch of the 29.4 km long first corridor.
