Ahluwalia Contracts (India) has bagged a contract for the construction and overall development of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra at Punauradham, the birthplace of Mother Sita, located in Sitamarhi district of Bihar.
The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order involves comprehensive civil construction works, with a stipulated execution period of 42 months. The total contract value is Rs 888.38 crore, including GST.
Awarded by by Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC), the order marks a significant addition to Ahluwalia Contracts’ portfolio of landmark infrastructure and heritage development projects. Upon completion, the project is expected to enhance tourism infrastructure and promote the cultural significance of the region while providing modern facilities for pilgrims and visitors.
