The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has issued a tender for the construction of road with associated infrastructure services, covering electrical works, storm water drainage, and horticulture landscaping.
The work scope spans two major stretches along the Sabarmati riverbanks: from Sadar Bazar to Indira Bridge on the east bank, and from the railway bridge to Indira Bridge on the west bank. This Rs 149.49 crore contract aims to enhance road connectivity, improve urban infrastructure, and provide integrated civic amenities along these important transport corridors. It stipulates a completion period of 24 months, excluding monsoon seasons between 16 June and 15 September each year.
The project is designed to improve vehicular movement, streamline drainage systems to prevent waterlogging, and introduce greenery for environmental enhancement. The electrical infrastructure component will ensure modern street lighting and related utilities.
The closing date to submit the bid is set for 08 September, 2025.
