Air Liquide India plans expansion and set up more units. The company has
earmarked Rs 1,200 crore investment per annum.
The company plans to invest EUR 70 million (approx Rs 427 crore) in setting
up the production facilities and the supply chain together in Visakhapatnam
(Andhra Pradesh).
At present, it has four state-of-the-art gas manufacturing units and gas
filling facilities in Roorkee (Uttarakhand), Panipat (Haryana), Jhagadia
(Gujarat), Dharuhera (Haryana). Similarly, in Pune, it is setting up a 200 tpd
capacity air separation unit to produce the industrial gases with an investment
of Rs 180 crore.
