Aircel, a joint venture of Maxis Communications, Malaysia and Apollo Hospital is planning to invest around $10 billion (approximately Rs 5,100 crore) for rolling out services in 23 telecom circles across India.
Recently, Aircel launched GSM mobile services in Delhi and is planning to expand this service to (eastern and western) Uttar Pradesh followed by Maharashtra circle. The company also has opened 25 exclusive stores in Delhi and an equal number of self-help kiosks.
