Ambuja Neotia Group plans to invest Rs 1,600-Rs 1,800 crore to set up five new healthcare facilities over the next four to five years.
The Group's healthcare arm, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture, will focus on three hospitals in West Bengal as part of this expansion. Recently, the group inaugurated a state-of-the-art Centre for Paediatric Multispecialty at its New Town Hospital in Kolkata, adding 105 beds to the existing facility, bringing its total capacity to 220 beds. The new paediatric unit offers specialised care in fields such as cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and nephrology, making it the first paediatric-focused centre for the group.
Executive Director Parthiv Neotia highlighted the centre's advanced infrastructure, reflecting the changing scope of paediatric medicine. Outside West Bengal, the Group plans to expand into Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Assam, with a hospital in Raipur expected by next year. Neotia also mentioned plans to add 1,500 beds in the next five years.
