US biopharma giant Amgen will invest USD 200 million in its new facility in Telangana in 2025, with plans for further significant investments, CEO Robert Bradway announced at the facility’s inauguration.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who inaugurated the centre, emphasised the state’s goal of becoming a USD one trillion economy and a key player in the "China Plus One" strategy. He highlighted Telangana’s leadership in life sciences, pharma, and biotech, aiming to position Hyderabad among the world’s top cities.
"We are committed to your success, your growth and your long-term vision," the CM said, urging Amgen to invest in research collaborations, skill development, and academic partnerships.
