Anmol Feeds is planning to set up a manufacturing plant for fish and shrimp feed either in the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
The company is scouting for a suitable location for setting up the plant. It plans to make an investment to the tune of Rs 50 crore for the new plant.
It will require five acre of land parcel for this facility and will have chosen the location by November 2020.
The company is exploring to set up a facility in the Far East to cater to wider export markets. It also plans to foray into pet food segment by the end of 2021.
Anmol Feeds operates eight manufacturing units across the country. It has rolled out shrimp feed under the brand Nouriture in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to aid livestock farmers in these states.
The company has revenues of Rs 600 crore in FY19 and is planning to double them in the next two years.
