Belgium-based Aliaxis’ Indian unit, Ashirvad by Aliaxis, has announced plans to commission a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Hyderabad by August 2026.

This move aims to strengthen the company's leadership position in South India. Currently, Ashirvad operates seven plants across India, with a strong presence in Southern regions. The company also recently inaugurated its first integrated distribution centre in Eastern India, located near Kolkata, to enhance customer experience with faster order fulfillment. Ashirvad’s Eastern market is its second-largest in India, following the South.

Ashirvad’s expansion includes upgrading its Durgapur plant with a state-of-the-art compounding facility, aimed at boosting production capacity and automation. The company sees India as a key growth market, with plans to reach one billion euro in revenue from the region by 2030.
