Auro Realty, the real estate arm of the Aurobindo Group, has acquired the landmark Hotel Taj Banjara property in Hyderabad for Rs 315 crore.
The property, located in the upscale Banjara Hills area, covers 16,645 sq. yards of land with a built-up area of 1.2 lakh sq. ft. The acquisition took place on October 31, 2025, and included a stamp duty payment of Rs 17.3 crore. Banjara Hills is one of Hyderabad’s most sought-after commercial and tech corridors, making the property a significant addition to Auro Realty's portfolio.
Auro Realty, which is also linked to Aurobindo Pharma, has not yet revealed its future plans for the property. In related news, Auro Realty is reportedly planning to raise Rs 20 billion through a bond sale to fund acquisitions like this one.
