The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has brought together 7,000 ayurveda shops and clinics in Kerala to launch Ayur Shield immunity clinics.
The concept of Ayur Shield immunity clinics was ideated by CII with the support of ayurveda associations such as the Ayurveda Medicine Manufacturers Association of India, the Ayurveda Hospital Management Association and the Ayurveda Management Association of India.
The government of Kerala also officially announced the launch of the ayurveda community website ayurvedacommunity.org, which will be the single-point centre for all information related to Ayur Shield.
Ayur Shield will be an extension of Government Ayur Raksha Clinics and both will work towards enhancing immunity among people and development of the ayurveda sector in Kerala.
These clinics will function in all 6,000 ayurveda medical shops and 1,500 ayurveda clinics in the state as specialty department.
