The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has unveiled a ready-to-move housing project at Paikarapur.
The housing project has two towers, 224 flats in one tower and 144 flats in the other. The 1 BHK flats have 804 and 800 sq ft of built-up area while the 2 BHK has built-up area of three different sizes.
The project developed on the big patch of land comprises of four villages like Naragoda, Sahajpur, Sijuput and Paikarapur.
According to the plan, the BDA will develop infrastructures such as roads, hospitals, parks, educational institutions, playgrounds, shopping complexes and police stations on 50 per cent of the total land. The remaining 50 per cent of land will remain with the villagers. The villagers can either construct their own houses or sell the plots to the developers for constructing high rises.
