Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCo) has floated tenders for the development of comprehensive sewerage network systems and sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Siwan, Sasaram, Buxar, and Aurangabad under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT 2.0) scheme.
For Aurangabad, the contract is valued at Rs 488.6 crore; for Sasaram, it stands at Rs 446.98 crore; Siwan's allocation is Rs 359.27 crore, and Buxar will receive Rs 249.21 crore for the development under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme. The scope of the project includes the design, construction, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance of the sewerage infrastructure aimed at improving urban sanitation, environmental sustainability, and public health in these rapidly growing urban centers.
The closing date for submission of bids is 18 August, 2025.
