1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Bengaluru Metro submits DPR for Hebbal-Sarjapur corridor

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) has submitted the detailed project report (DPR) for Hebbal-Sarjapur corridor to the Karnataka government for approval. Once the nod is granted, then it will go to the Union government for final approval.

The Phase 3A project, which is expected to cost around Rs 16,500 crore, is likely to have 28 stations, including 17 elevated and 11 underground. The likely stations are Sarjapur, Kada Agrahara Road, Sompura, Dommasandra, Muthanallur Cross, Kodathi Gate, Ambedkar Nagar, Carmelaram, Doddakannelli, Kaikondrahalli, Bellandur Gate, Ibbalur, Agara, Jakkasandra, Koramangala 3rd Block, Koramangala 2nd Block, Dairy Circle, NIMHANS, Shanti Nagar, Town Hall, KR Circle, Basaveshwara Circle, Bengaluru Golf Course, Palace Guttahalli, Mehkri Circle, Veterinary College, Ganga Nagar and Hebbal.

According to DPR, Sarjapur to Koramangala third Block section with15 elevated stations will be elevated, then it will go underground between Koramangala second Block and Veterinary College (11 UG stations). It emerges after Veterinary College, with the next two stations, Ganga Nagar and Hebbal, being elevated.

In 2022, RINA Consulting was selected to prepare the DPR, which was submitted to BMRCL in 2023.
