Punjab Health Systems Corporation has invited bids for the construction of a new medical college, auditorium, and related external development and services at Kapurthala, Punjab.

This project, which is part of the Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Institute of Medical Sciences, aims to build a modern 300-bed hospital within the existing district hospital premises. The work scope includes constructing essential infrastructure and upgrading the medical facilities to improve healthcare services in the region. The new medical college will provide advanced education and training for future healthcare professionals.

The completion timeline is set at 24 months, ensuring that the new hospital and medical facilities are operational within a short period. This initiative is part of the state's efforts to enhance its healthcare infrastructure and educational services for the community. 

The tender is open to qualified construction firms, and the final date for bid submission is 13 February, 2026.
