Planning Department, Uttar Pradesh has invited bids for the design, engineering, and procurement for the construction of a 500-bed multi-super specialty hospital at Shri Shiv Prasad Gupta (SSPG) Divisional District Hospital in Varanasi.

The contract involves demolishing 11 dilapidated buildings at the hospital site and constructing a modern, state-of-the-art facility under the engineering, procurement, and construction mode. This initiative is part of the National Health Mission and aims to improve healthcare services in the region.

The contract, valued at Rs 258 crore, will have a 48-month completion period, and it also includes a defect liability period of three years to address any defects or issues that arise post-construction. This project is part of Uttar Pradesh's ongoing efforts to upgrade healthcare infrastructure and expand medical services to meet the growing demand in the region.

The bid submission deadline is set for 18 February, 2026.
