National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited global bids for appointment of a technical consultant for widening of Karur-Coimbatore section.
Bids were invited for appointment of a technical consultant for carrying out a feasibility study and preparation of a detailed project report (DPR) for widening and development of the existing two lane with paved shoulders highway to 4/6 lanes from Karur-Coimbatore section (km 218.200 to 332.600) of NH-67 in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The scope of services includes traffic surveys and demand assessment, engineering surveys and investigations, proposal for sections passing through urban areas, ROBs/ RUBs, protective works in hill sections, retaining walls, breast walls etc, road signs, safety devices, toll plazas, truck laybyes, bus bays and bus shelters, social impact assessment, environmental impact assessment, preliminary designs project cost, financial analysis and bid process.
The last date for submission is 7 July, 2015.
