The New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh has invited bids, seeking a development partner for establishing a municipal solid waste (MSW) to energy processing facility in the Kakinada-Rajahmundry Cluster, Andhra Pradesh.
The contract, valued at Rs 200 crore will be undertaken on a design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) basis. The selected concessionaire will be responsible for constructing and operating waste-to-energy (WtE) plants to process the obligated quantity of MSW, as well as managing the disposal of process remnants and inert materials.
The bid submission deadline is set for 14 April, 2025.
