Projects & Development India (PDIL) has invited bids for hiring an agency to conduct geotechnical investigation work for the proposed ammonia-urea fertilizer plant of Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company (AVFCCL) at Namrup.
The new plant, part of a brownfield expansion, will have a production capacity of approximately 12.7 lakh tonne (LT) of urea annually. The project is located within the existing premises of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation (BVFCL). The selected agency will be responsible for carrying out the geotechnical investigations in compliance with the scope of work, ensuring that all duties are completed within the specified time frame for the successful completion of the project.
The closing date for bids is 18 November, 2025.
