Burkhan World Investment Group, a US-based company, has announced plans to invest Rs 1,500 crore in Karnataka to manufacture advanced AI-powered servers.
Karnataka’s industries Minister, MB Patil, confirmed the news on 06 November, 2025, adding that the company has requested 10–15 acres of land near Devanahalli, which will soon be allotted. The investment aims to create employment and enhance Karnataka’s ecosystem for semiconductors, AI hardware, and electronics. The servers produced will be in high global demand and exported internationally.
The project will involve collaborations with global companies such as Gigabyte, Cera Network, and local entities like Resolute Group and Quad-Gen for R&D, technology transfer, and academic partnerships. Burkhan will also set up its India and EMEA Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and launch skill development programs across the state.
