CARE is planning to invest Rs 300 crore to expand its footprint in Tier-II and III locations.
With the proposed investment, the company is planning to set up new hospitals in two years. CARE will set up new hospitals at three locations, adding 600 beds to its existing 2,000 beds at all the facilities. The new facilities will come up at Bhubaneshwar, with an investment of Rs 90 crore, and at Raipur with an investment of Rs 60 crore.
CARE has 13 owned hospitals in Vishakhapatnam, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Nagpur, Surat, and Pune along with Hyderabad.
The company has joined hands with KIMS Hospital, Bilaspur (200 beds) and RIMS (Raigarh Institute of Medical Sciences), Raigarh (150 beds) to manage both these facilities as part of the CARE network, on an operations and management contract.
