CCL Products (India) will set up its new manufacturing plant at Continental Coffee Park in Kuvvakolli village in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 400 crore.
The proposed plant with an annual capacity of 16,000 tonne will come up on 22 acres of land will manufacture spray-dried instant coffee. It will enable the generation of 100 direct jobs. The production is expected to start in Q4 of the current financial year.
Internal accruals and term-loan will constitute the funding pattern.
Last week, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had laid the foundation for the new plant.
CCL, formerly known as Continental Coffee, operates four manufacturing plants, two in India and one each in Vietnam and Switzerland. Further, it has grown from 3,000 tpa to a capacity of 55,000 tpa over the last 28 years.
