1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Cabinet approves eight high-speed road corridor projects worth Rs 50,655-cr

The government has approved eight national high-speed road corridor projects of length 936 km worth Rs 50,655 crore to improve logistics efficiency and connectivity across the country. The projects approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA)  include a six-lane Agra-Gwalior National High-Speed Corridor, four-lane Kharagpur-Moregram National High-Speed Corridor, six-lane Tharad-Deesa-Mehsana-Ahmedabad National High-Speed Corridor, four-lane Ayodhya Ring Road, 4-Lane Section between Pathalgaon and Gumla of Raipur-Ranchi National Highspeed Corridor, and six-lane Kanpur Ring Road.

These projects' implementation will generate an estimated 4.42 crore mandays of direct and indirect employment. The 88 km Agra-Gwalior National High-Speed Corridor will be developed on build-operate- transfer (BOT) mode as a fully access-controlled 6-lane corridor at a total capital cost of Rs 4,613 crore. The corridor will enhance connectivity to key tourist destinations in Uttar Pradesh (Taj Mahal, Agra Fort) and Madhya Pradesh (Gwalior Fort). It will reduce travel time by 50 percent,

The 231-km Kharagpur-Moregram corridor will be developed  as a HAM project at a total capital cost of Rs 10,247 crore. It will provide efficient connectivity for traffic between states such as West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh on one end and North-Eastern part of the country on the other. The 214-km Tharad - Deesa - Mehsana - Ahmedabad National High-Speed Corridor will be developed in build - operate - transfer (BOT) mode at a total capital cost of Rs 10,534 crore., and will provide connectivity to Amritsar- Jamnagar Corridor and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, with seamless connecttivity for the freight vehicles from Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan to the major ports in Maharashtra (JNPT, Mumbai and Vadhavan port).

The 68-km access-controlled Ayodhya Ring Road will be developed in hybrid annuity mode at a total capital cost of Rs. 3,935 crore. The 137-km Pathalgaon and Gumla of Raipur-Ranchi National Highspeed Corridor will be developed at a total capital cost of Rs 4,473 crore to complete the whole corridor.
