Engineering and software development firm Centillion, along with its affiliate HC Robotics, has announced plans to invest Rs 300 crore to expand their operations in Telangana, including setting up drone testing and aircraft tracking facilities in Hyderabad.
The announcement was made in the presence of Telangana IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. In Hyderabad, teh company currently employs around 1,800 professionals. Additionally, it plans to expand its operations to tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India. HC Robotics, on its part, is focused on developing drone testing and aircraft tracking facilities and is in discussions with the Telangana government to acquire land near the airport for these projects.
HC Robotics’ Director Dr. P Radhakishore also revealed plans for a significant investment of Rs 1,000-1,200 crore to establish a chip fabrication facility in India, with Telangana being the preferred location for this high-tech initiative. In support of this expansion, Minister Sridhar Babu confirmed that Centillion and HC Robotics have committed to recruiting 500 people in Telangana this year, with plans to increase the number to over 2,000 within the next two years.
These expansions will not only reinforce the companies’ growth trajectory but also contribute to the development of Telangana’s technology sector, creating new opportunities and attracting further investment in the region.
