The Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has granted capital support for Syrma SGS’s multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing project in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh.
This approval will help establish India’s largest PCB facility, driving advancements in the country's electronics manufacturing sector. The Rs 765 crore project, backed by the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), will manufacture multi-layer and HDI/flex PCBs and copper-clad laminates (CCLs). The project is expected to enhance India's electronics ecosystem, particularly in sectors like automotive, telecom, renewable energy, and defence.
Andhra Pradesh’s government has also approved a support package, including land subsidies, tax reimbursements, and capital subsidies, to accelerate the facility's development. This initiative aims to make India a global leader in advanced electronics manufacturing.
