Bangalore-based, Cloudnine Hospitals is planning to expand its chain by developing five hospitals outside Karnataka.
Cloudnine, a JV of Kids Clinic (Bangalore) and Scrips N Scrolls India, already has seven facilities in the country. It is planning to invest Rs 100 crore for its expansion plan. Initially, Cloudnine will set up two hospitals outside the state. In 2016 the company is planning to set up hospital in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. All hospitals will have both models, infant and maternity care and paediatric care. It is also planning to expand in tier-II cities. It is also planning a greenfield hospital in Mysore.
On 2 April 2013, Cloudnine inaugurated a new 42-bed paediatric hospital spread over 18,000 sq ft with an investment of Rs 20 crore at Bangalore.
