The Telangana government has approved the proposals of three companies for setting up their units in the state.
Coca-Cola is set to establish a major manufacturing facility in Telangana with an investment of Rs 2,398 crore, as announced by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka following a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting on industrial promotion. The plant is expected to provide a significant boost to the local economy, particularly benefiting mango and orange farmers in the state.
In addition, the committee approved two other major proposals. Toshiba Transmission and Distribution System will invest Rs 562 crore to set up a gas-insulated switchgear and bushings plant, while JSW UAV plans to invest Rs 785 crore in a new unit at Maheshwaram in Hyderabad.
Combined, the three projects are expected to generate over 1,500 new work opportunities. The developments reflect Telangana’s growing appeal as an industrial hub, with the state government continuing its focus on attracting global and domestic investmment.
