The Competent Authority has issued the provisional completion certificate for Hazaribagh – Ranchi highway project in Jharkhand.
ITNL-Punj Lloyd, JV company of IL&FS Transportation Networks and Punj Lloyd is implementing the project. The provisional completion certificate has been issued for the concession granted by NHAI to the promoter of the project. The road project was being built at a cost of Rs 869 crore.
The Hazaribagh - Ranchi section comprising of 75 km on NH-33 in Jharkhand on BOT basis under NHDP Phase III has been commissioned 134 days ahead of scheduled project completion date i.e. January 2013. The Company is expected to receive a semi-annual annuity of Rs 64.08 crore for a period of 15.5 years from NHAI. In addition, the Company will also receive a one-time Bonus Annuity of Rs 47.70 crore for early completion of the project. Unihorn India has been appointed as a consultant for the project.
