Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commenced work on extension of Dwarka to Najafgarh stretch of Phase-III of Delhi metro rail project.
The developer has completed preliminary works like surveying, fixing the alignment to minimize land acquisition and demolition, and finalization of station layout for the stretch. The stretch is expected to be completed by December 2015.
The Corporation is setting up the project with an investment of Rs 35,000 crore. It comprises six corridors in total length of 69.57 km to metro network with 31.11 km of elevated section and 38.46 km of underground section with extensions to existing lines.
