A consortium of Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon (DRA Infra) and German major Siemens has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) for providing signalling and telecommunication system package under Package No. MAHSR-S-1 on Mumbai Ahmedabad bullet train project.

The consortium will be responsible for the end-to-end design, manufacture, supply, installation, overall integration, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance of signalling and train control system, telecommunication system, and operation control centre system. The awarded contract value is Rs 4,140.06 crore.

In January 2025, NHSRCL floated a tender for this contract, with a seven-year deadline.

On 30 April 2025, technical bids were opened, revealing that two firms had submitted bids for the contract. Technical evaluation of the bids took place on 14 May, 2025.

Financial bids were opened on 15 May, 2025, and financial evaluation of the bids took place on 9 June, 2025, revealing that DRA Infracon – Siemens JV has received LoA for the contract.
