Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched development works worth approx. Rs 100 crore in the RK Puram Assembly constituency on 18 January, 2026.
The projects, aimed at improving infrastructure, include road repairs, renovation of community centres, the creation of open gyms, and park beautification. The CM assured the gathering that, for the first time, the Delhi government would ensure sufficient funding for such projects.
The current government is committed to offering residents of these areas essential services like housing, toilets, bathing facilities, roads, drains, and parks. CM Gupta also mentioned a Rs 700 crore budget to ensure Rs 10 crore development in each assembly constituency, aiming to bring modern facilities to both the poor and affluent.
