On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Delhi’s healthcare system received a significant upgrade with the inauguration of 101 new Ayushman Arogya Mandir units and five new hospital blocks, developed at a cost of Rs 503.49 crore.
Additionally, 150 dialysis machines have been installed across government hospitals, aiming to enhance emergency, critical care, and maternal-child health services citywide. Key developments include the Sant Shri Durbal Nath Ji Trauma Block at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Mangolpuri, featuring a dedicated emergency department and a 24x7 ICU.
At Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, Raghubir Nagar, a new Inpatient Department (IPD) block has been developed, expanding maternity and pediatric wards, offering advanced neonatal care. The Mother and Child Block at Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya, Dabri Mod, Dwarka, is equipped with modern neonatal units and upgraded obstetric and pediatric services. Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital, Moti Nagar, also saw the addition of a new IPD block, boosting inpatient capacity and service efficiency.
