Dilip Buildcon (DBL), through its joint venture DBL-RBL JV, has been declared the L-1 bidder for Metro construction contract in Haryana.
The contract, valued at Rs 1,503.63 crore, has been awarded by Gurugram Metro Rail (GMRL). The scope involves the "construction of viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9 (inclusive) from chainage (-) 381 m to 12,603 m, spur to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 km) and ramp to Depot at Sector 33, underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk excluding PEB and architectural finishing works."
The Gurugram Metro Corridor extends 26.65 km between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City, with an additional 1.85 km spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway, comprising a total of 27 stations. The construction covers a length of 15.22 km. The work is slated for completion within 30 months.
This development marks a significant infrastructure boost for Gurugram’s urban connectivity and is expected to ease congestion while enhancing accessibility between key commercial and residential hubs.
